What is low-dose naltrexone?
Naltrexone was originally approved by the FDA in higher doses to help treat opioid and alcohol dependence. In much lower doses, typically 0.5–4.5 mg, it works differently by helping the body rebalance immune function, calm overactive inflammation, and encourage natural endorphin production.
